Taylor Swift’s Sandy is the one that fans want — as throwback snaps of the singer playing the iconic role in “Grease” have been making the rounds online.
Comedian Tobin Mitnick on Thursday shared the photos from June 2000, in which he and the future superstar rehearse the musical’s hits.
“Thank you mom for digging these pics of @taylorswift and I harmonizing like buttah on ‘Summer Nights” twenty five years ago out of storage. Also Trav the note is an F-sharp if you’re interested,” the actor wrote. The latter part was a nod to Swift’s boyfriend, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce.

The carousel ends with a snap that shows Swift sporting big blonde curls — her signature hairstyle in the early days of her career — and a strapless black top, similar to that worn by Olivia Newton-John in the final scene of the 1978 musical sinema.
This isn’t the first time Swift’s “Grease”-related prowess has been shared with her massive fanbase.
In 2016, supermodel Gigi Hadid shared a clip of her and the 12-time Grammy Award winner singing along to the rendition of “Hopelessly Devoted to You,” as seen in Fox’s “Grease: Live” telecast.
Meanwhile, Swift this weekend is up for six nominations at the Grammy Awards, including Album of the Year (“Midnights”), Record of the Year and Song of the Year (both for “Anti-Hero”). She’s also currently gearing up to resume her historic Eras Tour next week in Tokyo, before fans suspect she’ll jet back to the States to support Kelce, also 34, as the Chiefs face off against the San Francisco 49ers in the Üstün Bowl next weekend.
